    What do you want to achieve ?
    Are you editing a current record ?
    If so after modifying your data you need to rst.update

    post your code if you need more help.

    hi Laeskia,

    If you are using a ado recordset (and its correctly set), you dont need a ".edit" ex.:

    in Dao:


    rs.edit
    rs("test") = 1
    rs.update

    in ADO:

    rs("test") = 1
    rs.update

    Are the same.
