I have a website whose contents is based on an Access database that is not designed specifically for the web. It means that the website uses only some records while the database itself contains several thousands.
Since the database is used locally on my machine (for billing among other things) I would like to find a way to update the records in the database that is on the web server without having to reupload the entire database, but only those that are new or changed to save bandwidth.
I would like, if it's possible, to schedule a task that executes a batch file doing all the updates (on the database, but on other files also) so all is done automatically. I know how to make the batch file, but I have yet to find a way to synchronize both databases without replacing the entire contents.
