I've set up Analysis Services (SQL Server 2000) on my local machine.
When testing, specifying a data source at another server, I get a message "Data source provider error: Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'.;42000; Time:2002-11-05 14:57:23" . The "Test Connection" button reports no problems.
I've defined it to use WIndows INtegrated Auth, which works fine from for instance QUery Analyzer (I don't want to login anonymously).
And, an even more basic question - the server contains more than one instance. Should the admin guys install Analysis Services for each instance, or how does A.S. work?
