    Unanswered: UNC for linked tables?

    HI all,
I've created a VB app to wrok with an Access2000 database. The database lives on a server, and has linked tables that link to another server. I want to use UNC for the linking, but I can't seem to find a way. Is drive mapping the only way to link across machines in Access?

    Thanks!

You can use the linked table manager to update the links using the UNC format.

they way that I did it was by browsing for the server threw the network neighborhood when you are in the link table wizard. That works fine for me
