Unanswered: HTML connecting to an SQL Server

I am writing script to validate a field. If the field <> 0 then I am dividing the number by 8. If the field is 0 the computer does not recognize it. How do I write the script if the value =0?

    Wil you please assist.

    Hi there

I can only suggest using a data type: "variant", validating the field to see if it is 0 if it isn't, then converting the variant to an integer type and carry on with your processing. I hope this help's you.
