    Unanswered: Switchboard

    Greetings,

I have created two databases PROVIDERS and RECIPIENTS. I have the following questions:
    1. I would like to create a switchboard titled “Providers/Recipients Database” like a menu so the user can either choose Providers or Recipients database, and once they open one of the database another switchboard which will allow them to go to Edit/Add Recipients etc.
    2. While testing the database I entered 99/99/9999 and also a letter in the Date Assigned field and didn’t give me error message. Is there a way to let user only enter valid numbers only?

    Thank you,
    DD

Did you look into the format and input mask properties?

input masks and validation in the properties for the field are where I would start.

Actually all you need to do is select Date/Time as the data type for the field when you create the table and Access will validate the input.

    Good Luck!
