    Unanswered: Errors connecting to MS-Access

Sometimes when I get an error, the page tells me what line it's on and gives me some hint of what it's all about, but sometimes it's just a generic "HTTP 500 - Internal server error" page, even when I haven't changed anything. It makes debugging a nightmare. Can anyone explain this?

How can I find out the correct values of the constants in msado15.dll? I don't know the physical path to it on my server and I keep getting an error in the file that calls it. I'm hoping I can just manually declare the constants. Or, how can I find the path? I can't use server.makepath because it's outside of the ASP script, right?

    Thank you!

Include the file - that will solve your constants problem.

The internal server error - this error is used for so many errors that it makes debugging difficult. However, you can disable the show friendly http error message in your browser which will help.
