    Unanswered: Lock Caps Lock in Access 2002?

    There are a way to lock the Caps Lock to Uppercase in Access 2002?

    If somebody know please give me a clue.

    do you want your text displayed in upper case or stored in uppercase? if it is only a display set the format property of the field to >.

    Else, you could write code that will convert the text to uppercase.

    for instance ... AfterUpdate event of a field (say you had a field called firstname)

    Private Sub FirstName_AfterUpdate()
    FirstName = UCase(FirstName)
    End Sub

    Or if all fields in the database need to be in uppercase, then modularise the code to loop each time data is entered/modified and you move to the next record/close form.
