    Unanswered: Oracle Enterprise Edition Vs Oracle WorkGroup Edition

    I heard there are 2 different version of oracle :
    Oracle Enterprise Edition , Oracle WorkGroup Edition

    What's the difference between them ? And If the cluster database is choosed , which edition should be selected ?

    Cool

    Workgroup Edition is the same as the Enterprise Edition, but had some changes to allow it to run on a workstation instead of on a server. Oracle doesn't support it anymore and your best bet would be to go for the Enterprise Edition.

    Check which options you need and compare with the Standard Edition from your Installation Notes matrix. You might not need it if not using the partitioning, multi-master replication, intermedia, etc.
