    Unanswered: Problem in reports 6

    I am creating a report using Reports 6i.

    This report works fine if I try to run without the WHERE clause.It works fine with SORT.(&SORT).

    When I try to run this report after passing &WHERE parameters from a form I am getting an error as below :

    ORA-00933QL Command not properly ended.

    The SQL in my report is as below :

    SELECT CUS_CO, CUS_DIV, CUS_CUSTOMER_NO, CUS_NAME,
    CUS_ADDRESS_1, CUS_ADDRESS_2, CUS_CITY,
    CUS_STATE, CUS_ZIP, CUS_COUNTRY, SUBSTR(CUS_TELEPHONE,1,3)||'-'||SUBSTR(CUS_TELEPHONE,4,3)||'-'|| SUBSTR(CUS_TELEPHONE,7,4) TELEPH,
    SUBSTR(CUS_FAX,1,3)||'-'||SUBSTR(CUS_FAX,4,3)||'-'|| SUBSTR(CUS_FAX,7,4) FAX,
    CUS_CREDIT_LIMIT,
    STO_STORE_NO, STO_NAME, STO_ADDRESS_1, STO_ADDRESS_2, STO_CITY, STO_STATE|| ' '||STO_ZIP,
    STO_COUNTRY, STO_SELL_SALESMAN, STO_ACCT_SALESMAN, STO_PRIORITY, STO_PRIORITY_SUFFIX, STO_CO, STO_DIV
    FROM CUSTOMER , STORE
    WHERE CUS_CO=STO_CO
    AND CUS_DIV=STO_DIV
    AND CUS_CUSTOMER_NO= STO_CUSTOMER_NO
    &WHERE_PARAM
    &SORT_PARAM

    Is there any problem using lexical parmeters here ?

    The parameters are passed to this report from a Form.

    I am using a function in After Form event as below

    function AfterPForm return boolean is
    begin
    If :where_param is not null Then
    :where_param := replace(:where_param, '#&!', ' ');
    End If;
    return (TRUE);
    end;

    It looks like some how &WHERE_PARAM fails.
    If anyone got an idea here please help me.

    Re: Problem in reports 6

    One way to debug these kind of situations is to display the :where_param after consructing it in the After Pform. For example, use

    SRW.MESSAGE (2000, ‘Where Condition is : ‘ || :where_param);

    Please try this and let us know.
