Red face Unanswered: objects creation dates may be false

    Sybase ASE 12.0.0.6 on Solaris

I noticed that in some cases, crdate in sysobjects does not reflect real object creation date, but an old date.

Sybase is unable to repriduce this bug.

select crdate, count(*) from sysobjects where type='P' group by crdate
    .........
    11/12/2002 08:58:46:256 1
    11/15/2002 10:55:12:720 1
    11/16/2002 16:40:40:516 2654

After a server reboot, all is OK for other new objects. But a few days after, problem reappears.

Have you already seen this problem, and is there a way to make Sybase fix this bug

Re: objects creation dates may be false

I wonder if this is related to the problem I have seen, where the object id doesn't change. ASE 12.5.0.1 EBF 10423 on Solaris.
