    Unanswered: Macro

    Hi Everyone,

    Does anyone know how to copy a entire row onto a new table with the same fields using a macro? I've tried using the SetValue command, but with no luck.

    E.g I have a table called "Main", with a field called code of type number and I have a table called "Copy", with the a field called code which also has type number. Basically,I want to set the value of code in "Copy" to equal to the value in "Main".

    If anyone could help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Create an append query to append the data from Main to Copy. You can then create a macro that has the OpenQuery action.

    Thanks for your reply. I seem to run into the problem of appending 0 rows. Any ideas why this is happening?

    Plus I'm only appending certain record, not the entire table.

    Your help will be greatly appreciated.
