    Unanswered: Show And Hide Controls

    Dear All,
    Can I show a hidden control upon selecting an option from an option group?
    Example if I'm asking about a job and the options are "Doctor";"eng";"others" and I want to open another control if anyone chose others to write it in. How can I make it,

    Re: Show And Hide Controls

    you will need a field in the table to store what they have typed.

    On the combobox, select the AfterUpdate event. Add the following code, replacing ComboBox with the name of your combobox and TextBox with the name of the type in field.

    If Combobox = "Other" Then
    TextBox.Visible = True
    Else
    TextBox.Visible = False
    End If

    Thanx very much Mona, yet I was talking about an option group not a combo box which is not our case

    My sincere apologies, for some reason I read it as combobox ... I think I might need to get glasses.

    I have attached a small db with form that does it. However, there are no table in the db.
