Question Unanswered: WHEN "Impact" = MED and "reoccurence" = HIGH then "prio" = Importent h

    Hi All,

Can somebody help me with a access problem.

I am not very good with access. I looked on Internet but i can't find a solution for my problem.
I am do a update with a ASP web form in a access database.
    Now what i want is
When somebody is doing a update in the webform to my Access DB that in access there are automaticly some things done.

In the form they will update 2 columns.
    Column 1 = "Impact"
    Column 2 = "reoccurence"

The value that will be entered by the WEBFORM will be 4 types of values.
    - NONE
    - LOW
    - MED
    - HIGH

Now i want that access is putting a value in a 3th column.
    (this column name is "prio"
    something like.
WHEN "Impact" = MED and "reoccurence" = HIGH then "prio" = Importent high

How can i do this in access?
    Who can help me?
Where do i make this in access?

In the After Update Event procedure for the control Reoccurence, place this code.

    Private Sub Reoccurence_AfterUpdate()
    If Me![Impact] = "MED" And Me![Reoccurence] = "HIGH" Then

    Me![Priority] = "Important"
    End If

    End Sub

    Hi David,

    Thanks for your reply.

This is only posible in a Access for right? I don't use a access for to enter the data.

I use a webpage with SQL in it.

Is there also a way to do something in the table?

    Groetjes,
    Joost
