Unanswered: Stored Procedures is taking too much time to compile.

I am having a problem. I had a DB2 database which i dropped and recreated. Now when i try to run the stored procedures for the first time it is taking a lot of time and gets hanged. When i try and run the stored procedure by commenting little protions of the code it runs very quickly. After this when i run the procedure it runs completely. This happening for all the stored procedures.
Any idea why is this happening.
