Unhappy Unanswered: Strange Error on Load Utility

we are running LOAD on a number of tables and are getting a pretty wierd error. Eg.

SQL3508N Error in accessing a file or path of type "TEMP_FILE" during load or load query. Reason code "1".

Has anyone seen this message before and know what could be the cause?

When we run a load for the first time (against a table) it works fine - we get this message when we run subsequent loads against the table. Even when we are just loading an empty file.

We are running DB2 V7.1 on Win2000. There's no "obvious" problem with the system - eg. a lot of disk space, no permission problems on the disk.

    Any help would be appreciated.

When you load data into a table it maintains a Temporary file specification whose by default path installation directory. You can have a try by specifying a different directory with the TEMFILE clause of the LOAD command
