    Unhappy Unanswered: Calculations with Time

    I've got two fields formatted as datetime in the table, a start time and an end time. In the report I have worked out the time spent ie =([start time] - [end time]). But what I want to be able to do is put a total time spent box at the end of the report, however access won't allow me to use the sum function on datetime, so I can't do =(sum([start time]) - sum([end time])). Any ideas?

    Make a query calculating the used time per record (end time- start time) and then use the sum of that.
