    Question Unanswered: Importing csv files

    Hello,

    I have a general problem importing CSV files into an informix db. How can I import an csv file? Iīm using dbaccess and odbc connection to ms access...

    please help!

    You can use simple sql:
    load from 'file.csv' DELIMITER ','
    INSERT INTO table

    or you could use teh High Performance loader.

    when using dbaccess, how do i transfer the csv files to the db server?

    If you use dbaccess, dbaccess will look in the directory where you started dbaccess. So you 'll have to ftp the csv files to the dbserver.
    You can also specify the full path name in the LOAD FROM clause
    rws
