    Unanswered: subform question

I have a main form with a subform in it.

The sub form lists all entries related to the record in the main form.

I click a button in the subform to open a seperate form in order to add a related record.

When the record is added and the seperate form is closed, the subform does not show the new record. Is there a way of telling the subform to requery when the seperate form is closed?

    Hope this was understandable.

In the close event of the pop up form, requery the subform.

    Form_MainForm!Subform.Form.Requery

I always get mixed up with whether you need form of not after the subform reference , if it doesn't work try it without.

I gave it a try both ways. And even setup a button on the main form to simplify it with the on click event. Both didn't work. It said it couldn't find the subform.

I was using the actual forms name and not the object name. Now it's working. Thanks.
