Question Unanswered: dynamic sql spool file

    hi,
i create dynamic sql scripts. If i user input parameters by prompting, sqlplus change the sql-statement before running it. There are 2 extra lines in the spool file:
    old:
    new:
the new statement was executet. To run the spool file as sql-script, i must suppress this lines. The problem is, i dont know the right set option to suppress this lines. I use a lot of set options for dynamic sql, but this two lines are still there.

You can use this template, when creating SQL in spool files:

    SET PAGESIZE 2000
    SET LINESIZE 120
    SET HEADING OFF
    SET VERIFY OFF
    SET FEEDBACK OFF

    SPOOL some_file.sql

    <your_SQL_goes here>

    SPOOL OFF

    SET PAGESIZE 50
    SET LINESIZE 80
    SET HEADING ON
    SET VERIFY OFF
    SET FEEDBACK ON

    Hope that helps,
