Unanswered: Unicode data storage in Oracle in cilent server environment
I am using Oracle9i as backend for my web application in ASP.Net.
I want to store unicode data (data in multiple languages) in my table. I have used nvarchar2 and proper insert query for that.
But if I am using Oracle 9i from the same machine where IIS resides, then I am able to store unicode data properly, but if am using Oracle 9i which doesn't reside on IIS machine then junk characters are stores for unicode. (junk like "?")
This may be because of some client server environment mismatch.
So what all settings I have to do correctly storing unicode data in Oracle 9i ? And how does it affect when I am storing data from web page or sql plus?
