Unanswered: a pattern of SEQNO in SYSCAT.COLDIST?

I find SEQNO in SYSCAT.COLDIST is in a pattern, of which every column name takes 30 rows (10 for F type and 20 for Q type). Is this always the case? I can't find any detailed explaination on this topic. Could anyone help? Thanks.

Re: a pattern of SEQNO in SYSCAT.COLDIST?

This is dependent on the following database configuration parameters ...

You can obtain db cfg using

    db2 get db cfg for <db name>

Number of frequent values retained (NUM_FREQVALUES) = 10
    Number of quantiles retained (NUM_QUANTILES) = 20

    HTH

    Cheers
