Unanswered: Best Way to Update DB

I have a DB on a server and occasionally have to do some adjustments to tables/queries/reports. The way I do it is that I create a copy of the original DB, block the DB from server users and then make changes to the copy. If I'm happy with it, I upload the new one (the whole thing). Any other suggestions?

Re: Best Way to Update DB

split it into FORMS, queires and reports MDB and Data MDB.

Use simple Batch and copy forms mdb from server to users' desktop or temp folder and run it from there...... in this case everybody has clear newest copy and you can easily replace Forms MDB with your updated version + plus they run it from local and it's little bit faster. You cannot change your way for Data MDB....
