    Lightbulb Unanswered: Microsoft Foxpro 2.5/2.6 drivers for Access 97

    Hi all,

    I wish to import data to Access 97 from DBF file.
    For this i wish to install Microsoft Foxpro 2.5/2.6 drivers for my Access 97.
    I need some location to download these drivers
    Please help me with this,

    You don't need to download anything. Use existing Microsoft foxPro ODBC drivers. If you want to get newest updates go to www.microsoft.com/data and download MDAC 2.7, JET 4 sp or FoxPro ODBC (separate downloads).

    win2k:
    go to control panel-admin tools-ODBC drivers and ADD Microsoft Foxpro source which points to your DBF, then go to MS Access and click FILE-GET EXTERNAL DATA-LINK and in File Type select the last option ODBC ......

    Well I tried doin wat u said jiri,but when i try to add Microsodt FoxPro Drivers,then it gives an error saying "Microsoft FoxPro Driver no longer supported.It has been replaced by Visual FoxPro Driver"

    I wanna use only Microsoft FoxFro and not VFP

    Kindly help

    if you need FoxPro Drivers (and I don't see any reasons why), you have to download very old MDAC (I really do not recommend it).

    Foxpro drivers were replaced with visual foxpro drivers....

    there are other ODBC drivers vendors, but it is not for free and and i would say that you will NOT get better FoxPro ODBC driver.
