Unanswered: DB2 7.2 - memory cannot be read

    Hello!

I am trying to access DB2 from a Java servlet. This causes an error -
"The instruction at 0x0040b9f8 referenced memory at 0x00000001. The memory could not be read." and
    "COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.net.DB2Exception: [IBM][JDBC Driver] CLI0617E Error closing socket. SQLSTATE=08S01"

But I am able to connect successfully from a command-line Java program.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

I had installed DB2 under the Program Files folder (C:\Program Files\SQLLIB). The space in the name was causing the problem.
    I re-installed DB2(C:\SQLLIB) and this fixed it.
