    Unhappy Unanswered: Database Permissions

Can someone please walk me through setting up database permissions? I am having a hard time understanding the concept. For example:
    When i login as
    Admin: All rights on database
Teacher: Add, Edit rights on database
    Student/parent: no rights on database

I am using ASP and not I do not understand on the format code to perform this function. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you again, Phillip Ewing

First of all, knowing what type of database you are using is important. If you use SQL-server then using three different connection-strings might do the trick, but unfortunately this will ruin you connection-pooling which will slow down things quite alot.

If you use something like MS Access I'm afraid all database-permissions ar up to you to program yourself.
