    Unanswered: browse file in macro

Is there a script/process that I can use in a macro to browse to find the file that I wish to import.

Think you will have to work your way with the macro-command
TransferText, which as far as I understand needs the import file defined in the macro itself.

Of course if you switch to VB-code, you can use
    DoCmd.TransferText acImportDelim, "MyImportSpec", "TableToImportTo", "C:\FileToImportFrom.txt", True, ""
Than you can set the import file using VB.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have gone to VB. First time in a long time
Got it to work and it is really pretty sweet.

    Appreciate your suggestion.

Is there a way I can close this thread?

    Dambros,

As far as I know this forum, threads are not formally closed.
