    Unanswered: Search Button

How can I make my search button have the "Any part of field" match as a default? Right now the default is "Whole Field".

    Thanks!

Put the following in front of the code:

    Application.SetOption "Default Find/Replace Behavior", 1

The code basically should switch the search option from "fast" to "general". It works with me, at least in A97.
General will search in part of field and all fields.
Fast will search in whole field, and only one specific field

Using Application.SetOption, you can basically set any Database option as present in Tools/Options by code.

You can also set this option manually trough the Access interface:
Tools/Options/Find-Search (not sure about this last naming, working in Dutch Access version at the moment.
Choose General i.s.o. Fast in this menu.
