    Hello -
Can I run both Oracle Database and MySQL both on the same machine at the same time?

    Thanks.

Yes but it's not recommended. If you want performance from a DBMS, you put it on a dedicated machine. Two DBMS on a single machine means one will eat the other's resources and get slower... and slower... and slower.... and...

I have a test machine with Oracle, MySQL and DB/2 installed but I'd never use it in a production environment. It's just a once a month compatibility test machine and nothing more...

Having Oracle and MySQL is a good recipe for trouble and performance problems...
