Question Unanswered: search in all procedures

    Hello

I am a beginner in sql and I need to make a search in all my application in the diferents store procedures , I need to find a ip that is in the text ,
but if I go one by one ,it is taking me too much time.
does someone know how to find a word in all the procedures?

    Thanks a lot.

    you might want to try:

    Code:
    select so.name
      from syscomments sc
      join sysobjects so on sc.id = so.id
where sc.text like '%<the string you are looking for>%'
of course, this only looks in the current db.

    1. <the string you are looking for> must be formated for LIKE (%[_)
    2. Searched text can be hidden between text pages (4000 chars)
    3. SP can be numbered
