    Unhappy Unanswered: Can't load dynamic-link library msjet40.dll

I am recieving the following error in Microsoft Access 2002:

    "Microsoft Access can't load dynamic-link library msjet40.dll"

Following this error message, Access closes. I have tried repairing office using the CD, but it fixes nothing.

Also, i did a search for "msjet40.dll" and it returned 2 files. One in a OfficeXP folder and one in the "servicePackFiles" folder.

I have found a copy of the "msjet40.dll" on the internet. Should I try replacing the file with the new one? Which one do I replace?

Found this on another newsgroup - May help

    Hi Ryan,

My name is Michael Noto. Thank you for using the Microsoft
Access Newsgroups. As I understand, you cannot open any access databases.
You are getting the message that MSJET40.DLL cannot be loaded.

You may want to search for the file msjet40.dll and rename it.
Then reinstall. You could also try updating the jet database engine using
    the article below.
