    Question Unanswered: db2 import

    Hi all!
    I'm trying to perform a db2 import.
I have a table with 3 columns, and the first one is auto-increment.
A have a file called import.txt, with only two columns separated by tabs.
Wich is the import syntax thatI have to use???

    Thank you very much!

    Re: db2 import

    Hey Garcia,

What are the columns' datatypes and length? And what about the type of the file, is it ASCII?

If the columns are separated by TABS I think you won´t be able to use the column delimiter from DEL filetypes.

So I suggest you take a look at the "Command Reference - Import" or better at the "Data Movement and Utilities Guide and Reference" for the whole command and explanation of the filetypes and syntax with the whole details.

    Fernando.
