Unanswered: Converting date from RDB to Oracle

Hi, im trying to convert a database running on RDB to Oracle without having to rewrite some of the owerlying applications.

My problem is that the date-format in RDB has hundredth, and oracle stops at seconds. Is there anyway to get hundredth in the date format in oracle 8.1.7 (NLS_DATE_FORMAT ??)

You would have to use one of the new Oracle 9i data types like TIMEZONE:
