Question Unanswered: options for stored procedures

    hi,
I have to give support for mysql to my existing product which uses sql server as a back end .
there are a few stored procedures which were used in sql server now since stored proceudres are not supported in mysql what is the alternative solution to this, some of the stored proc's have transactions like inserting an order ,the procedure accepts all the details for an order and inserts it into the different tables.
is this feaseable through mysql .
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Harshal.

If you need transaction support you better use innodb table that support transaction
