    Unanswered: time slice error on ASE 12.5 with red Hat 7.3

    Hi,
    while trying to load scripts/stored procedures using a shell script .I get time slice error on sybase and the dataserver hangs..I have to kill it.
    I cannot load data/stored procedures etc due to this

    please help

    If you are running 12.5.0.2 or the 12.5.0.1 version for 2.4.x kernels I suggest that you start your server with the -T1639 traceflag.

    That *should* take care of the problem.
