    Unanswered: How to uncheck the check boxes

    I have two check boxes in a option group to open reports.
    Once I checked a box the check mark stays even it's no longer in focus.
    How can I uncheck it? I have mousedown event procedure for these controls. Do I need to add some code there?

    Thanks!!

    at the end of the code that launces the reports selected just set the value of the check boxes in the option group to 0

    checkboxname.value = 0

    No, it's still not working. I also tried checkboxname.value = "".
    The check mark is still there.

    I appreciate any other suggestions.

    Thank you.

    It works if I assigned the value of the check box to a variable and then the value = "". However, I'm having trouble to display to check mark. When I clicked on the box the check box turned gray and then executed the code, it never displayed the check. I'm not using the option group, each check box is an independent control. I tried using On Click and On Mouse Up events still no luck.

    Do you know why ?

    Thanks!!

    There are three dispalys to a check box grayed out, checked, and uncheceked

    RMisFlagCk.Value = 0
    Global_Account_Check = 0

    both lines of code above set my check boxes to unchecked. I needed no variables or anything of that sort.

    RMisFlagCk.Value = -1
    Global_Account_Check = -1

    will set them to checked btw

    You are right! You can check and uncheck the boxes just the way you stated. I guess the box is checked if there is no code such as On Click procedure the check will displayed. But if there is command such as openreport it'll execute the code without placing the check mark.
    There is probably a way to delay .openreport I just can't think of it.

    Well, Again Thanks for your help!
