    Please take a look at our ETL tool <http://www.etlsolutions.com> as this handles data exchange between databases and most data formats.
    The approach would be to view the Dbase tables as a source and the Oracle database as a target and transform between them.
    Our IDE is all Java technology and we deploy in Java as well.

    Hi,

    I have some PL/SQL packages that can do direct table creation and/or imports of dbase tables server side. If your Dbase tables reside on the same host they can be imported at astounding speed.

    You can also access them on other machines via a unc path.

    They're based on work at Ask Tom @ oracle but with some additional file formats (dbt/fpt memos etc) added.
