    Unanswered: Create Database

I have never created a database.
I want to create a database in a DB2 server running on a NT server
from either CLP or command center
    with the following syntax

    CREATE DATABASE CarrierDB
    CATALOG TABLESPACE
    MANAGED BY SYSTEM USING ('d:\pcatalog')
    EXTENTSIZE 16 PREFETCHSIZE 32
    USER TABLESPACE
MANAGED BY DATABASE USING (FILE'd:\db2data\personl' 5000,
    FILE'd:\db2data\personl' 5000)
    EXTENTSIZE 32 PREFETCHSIZE 64
    TEMPORARY TABLESPACE
    MANAGED BY SYSTEM USING ('d:\db2temp\personl')
    WITH "Carrier DB for AR"

    Is this syntax correct?

can I use this syntax for database creation in Command center?
I tried using Add Database wizard of Configuration wizard but it's giving some error. So thought of using the command center.
Please tell me if anything is wrong in the syntax and from where this script should be run

    Hi,

Ofcourse you can use the command with command center or DB2 Command prompt with few corrections.

The database name should be 8 characters in length and the container path should be perfect.
