    Unanswered: Application Heap

Hai, I am new to DB2 for that matter new to managing database
I wrote a store procedure which process data in one table and insert it to another.
In fact the store procedure is working fine, but rather strange is that sometime (actually very frequence) the store procedure give me this error message:
[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUX] SQL0954C Not enough storage is available in the application heap to process the statement. SQLSTATE=57011

    Can anyone help?
    TQ in advance.

    Re: Application Heap

Update the application heap size parameter of the database config file:

update db cfg for <db_name> using APPLHEAPSZ <value>

    e.g.

update db cfg for sample using APPLHEAPSZ 512

Normally the value is set to 256 4kb pages. Increase this value to little higer and then try your procedure.
