Question Unanswered: calling procedure from trigger

Is it possible to call a SQL Stored procedure from a trigger? I have not found any direct documentation stating that I can't do it, but have not been able to successfully create a trigger to do that.

    Thanks, Charlie Crissman

No, according to the SQL manual on CREATE TRIGGER,
you can for a BEFORE trigger execute:
    A) fullselect
    b) Set transition variable SQL statement
    c) SIGNAL SQLSTATE

For an AFTER trigger you can execute:
    a) INSERT
    b) searched UPDATE
    c) searched DELETE
    d) SIGNAL SQLSTATE
    e) fullselect
