    Can anyone tell me where I can find the definition of a mutating trigger and its purpose?

    This document talks about Mutating tables, not triggers. is the concept the same?

    Yes, mutating tables is the correct term, and it is something that only happens with triggers.

    Adding a datafile while db online

    Hi,

    Thank you the reply. I have another question:

    I just added a new disk, How would I move a data file from one disk to another, without shutting down the database ?

    Make the tablespace offline and then move the file.
