Angry Unanswered: data corruption on novell 3.12 running a clipper 5.3 application

i had several cases of data corruption in a .dbf file. some fields of a record did not contain data after performing a commit(). application has been linked using an exospace linker.
the client has been set to commit=true and also cache buffers=0, using a DOS netx shell. all trials of error fixing on workstations hardware (several types), net cards and the switch etc. have failed.
    has somewone an idea...?

it happened from all. we also tried another platform, so as Win98 and Win2000. the dropouts recurred sporadicly. were not able to fix the conditions. very strange.... should it be a special form of Alzheimer's disease on a Novell Server?

Go to the news group comp.lang.clipper and ask this question there. There several issues with Novell and there are solutions about how to fix these problems. They seems to be Novell problems.
