Unanswered: Error While Compiling Stored Procedure SQL0901N

I am trying to compile a stored procedure on an AIX server having DB2 V 7.1 with Fixpack 6.o and Visual Age for C++ compiler version 5.0.2 and I am getting the following error:

DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a
valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned:
SQL0901N The SQL statement failed because of a non-severe system error.
Subsequent SQL statements can be processed. (Reason "call to sqloopen
    failed".) SQLSTATE=58004

Can anyone help me on this.

One of the reasons could be the file permissions, normally in sqllib/function ... Check the file permissions ..

Another reason could be that fixpack was not applied properly .... ie , the DB2 components are of different levels ... Probably because db2iupdt was not run .... Reinstall db2 and reapply fixpacks ...
