    Question Unanswered: update MSysObjects

Is there a way to update Access system tables? I am trying to update MSysObjects in order to set the path of an object to a local path everytime the mdb is open. The goal is to relink a text file used as a table during the opening of the database. Both the text file and the mdb wil always leave in the same directory but the directory changes location depending on needs. Any insight?

MS Access Help is really good base.

go to MS Access and type
currentdb.TableDefs("myTable").Connect , move cursor to connect and hit F1 ....
