    Unanswered: mySQL load statistics

Does anyone know if there is a way to query a mysql database and determine the load it is currently experiencing? For example, I have 4 different servers running mysql with the same database information on each. If someone is performing a complex query on one, I'd like to direct incoming traffic to one of the other three. Is there a query I can execute against each one to determine which one is the least "busy"?

There is some usefull information here:

    http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/MySQL_Benchmarks.html

Plus you could possibly use SHOW STATUS, and pull information from there to make a logical decision as to which server is running harder than the other.
