    Unanswered: Break point in a procedure

    Hello,

    Could anyone tell me how to set break point in the procedure? Trying to debug... Like in C++, we can set break points and continue manually...

    I am very new to this Informix spl programming...

    Thanks

    No, there are no breakpoints.

    You can use the following combination:

    set debug file to '<filename';
    trace on;

    Or you could trace individual variables like:

    trace <variable_name>;

    This creates a debug file with information about variables
    etc.

    You might also check the ATG-Website:

    http://www.serverstudio.com/

    They had a stored procedure debugger for windows platforms,
    however I never worked with this tool.

    HTH.

    Best regards
