    Unanswered: Hard Disk Work Why?

    My db is encreasing more and more and when a make a query on it, are two days that disk start to work al lot and the asnwer are very slow!

    Somebody know what happen in my postgres!

    There are parameter that help me to make faster the answer?
    What can i encrease for give more memory to postgres process?

    there are settings for shared memory
    increase them

    Hmmm, how regularly do you vacuum analyze? What's the size of the DB and how much updating/inserting/deleting do you do? If you haven't vacuumed analyzed in a while then that might be your problem, you may even need to do a vacuum full.
