Unanswered: DB2 views and the OLAP functions

At the moment I am working at home with no DB2 at hand.
Can someone answer whether it is possible to use the latest OLAP functions (RANK() OVER (PARTITION) etc in the definition of an DB2 view. I am using UDB version 7.1 (which supports the new OLAP functions in straight SQL, but I don't know right now, if they work in a view definition......)

Re: DB2 views and the OLAP functions

    Hi,

OLAP functions can be defined in view definition. I tested and it works fine.

    Hope this helps,
