    Wink Unanswered: DB2 connecting problem on AIX

    Hi,

    I installed db2 successfully on AIX. I logon my user id in AIX I tried connect the database its showing error like this.


    SQL10007N Message "-1390" could not be retrieved. Reason code: "1"

    What is the problem? I given the path in .profile file.

    export DB2INSTANCE=yourInstanceName

    Include the following line in your .profile

    . (instance-home-directory)/sqllib/db2profile

    This will set all environment variables needed to run db2 commands from your user-id
