Angry Unanswered: Graph from a query based on an unbound form

I am trying to make a graph that is based off of a union query which is based off of 2 queries that pull input from about 6 fields, of which 3 fields, (year, sex, weight) come from an unbound form. I deal with cattle prices and numbers, and so I wanted to be able to compare a selected year's cattle prices by week to the average price by week for all the years in the database. The queries work fine, but when I try to build a chart off the combined union query, I get the following message:

The Microsoft Jet Database engine does not recognize '[Forms]![frmMOWWAPriceComparison]![Year]' as a valid field name or expression.

I have messed with it trying different things, and I can get the same message for the sex and weight fields as well. If any of you fine folks can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.
